Hola realice una reserva en doyouspain, contrate un seguro con ellos para evitar tener que pagar la fianza de 1.500€ que exigen con tarjeta de crédito para alquilar un vehículo. Al llegar al mostrador de goldcar me dicen que ese seguro no sirve y que tengo q abonar con tarjeta de crédito, lo cual no dispongo. Por ese motivo decidí no hacer uso de la reserva, pero entiendo que si no uso la reserva el dinero del seguro que no servía para nada creo que debería ser reembolsado. Son 35,53€.

The Platinum insurance you've taken with us is a private policy and independent from any insurance the hire company may offer. On arrival at the local office, the hire company will offer two options. You can either take the insurance with them or you can leave a deposit. If you don't want to take the hire companies' insurance for whatever reason, because you have our insurance, because you have your own private policy or any other reason, then you'll be required to leave a security deposit. The deposit amount will be temporarily blocked ontaken from the main driver's credit card and held for the duration of the rental. As long as you bring the car back undamaged at the end of the rental, the money will be unblockedreturned. If there was any damage to the car, the hire company would retain this money from your deposit and then you'd claim it back from your Platinum policy.
