Evictions

The economic crisis took its toll with all virulence in thousands of families who were affected by the drama of eviction after being unable to cope with their mortgage commitments. Given the seriousness of the situation of these thousands of families, OCU wrote to the government, parliamentary groups and the Ombudsman calling for legislation to protect consumers affected by situations of insolvency and affected by evictions.
