Nullity of banks’ unfair terms
01 feb. 2010With this ruling culminated a process initiated by OCU in 2003, which sought to declare unfair and therefore null, several of the clauses that many financial institutions force upon their customers, for example, in credit card contracts or when they take out a mortgage.
The Supreme Court declared 13 clauses of financial contracts to be unfair.
OCU continues its battle.
